5/21/12 Day of Caring

I find it important because its very good to do stuff for the community and it will also teach you how to be very helpful to people. And the school is doing a day of caring so that we can clean or do stuff for certain places.

5/9/12 Parking Fees

I think they should increase parking fees so they can get more people to come to downtown Portland.

5/7/12 Introduction to the of mice and men book

 There are alot of painful topics that are difficult to think about, but it is important for people to analyze these issues. In the book Of Mice and Men this book has been actually banned of offensive topics such as racism and unflattering characterization of people with disabilities. The most emotionally charged issue was about euthanasia. It is subject matter like this that can be controversial, but it also tell a story of the realities of certain peoples lives.

This poem is related to the book Mice and men cause it reminds you of the end of the book of when george is aiming his gun at lennie while telling him that he is never alone and will have there farm in the afterlife.

I think at the end of the book George and Lennie are gonna finally have the farm they always dreamed of having.
